The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested two young mechanics in Montblanc on Thursday, January 15, accused of stealing three motorcycles and manipulating their chassis numbers.

The operation began in October following a report of a motorcycle theft in La Selva del Camp. Agents suspected the vehicle might be hidden in an industrial warehouse in Montblanc.
On November 14, officers went to the warehouse, where the owner authorized access. During the operation, which involved the Regional Traffic Area Research and Documentation Group and the Montblanc Local Police, several vehicles, dismantled engines, and parts were inspected.
Four motorcycles were found inside the warehouse, one of which matched the one stolen in La Selva del Camp. Following this discovery, the 20-year-old man was initially arrested. It was later confirmed that two motorcycles had been stolen in Valls and a third in La Selva del Camp.
The two arrestees, aged 20 and 23, used the clandestine facility to modify the bikes, dismantle the parts, and sell them through online platforms. The origin of the fourth motorcycle found, which also had a manipulated chassis number, is still pending determination.
