The central event will begin with the raising of the Catalan flag (senyera) by an agent of the Local Police and an agent of the Mossos d'Esquadra. Following this, the Escola de Grallers de Sitges will perform the Cant de la Senyera.
Subsequently, traditional floral offerings will be made at the Monument al Dr. Robert, with participation from individuals, entities, associations, political parties, and the City Council.
The mayor of Sitges, Aurora Carbonell, will conclude the event with an institutional address. Finally, the Colla Jove de Castellers de Sitges will perform a human tower (pilar), accompanied by the Escola de Grallers de Sitges performing "Els Segadors".
Individuals, entities, and associations wishing to participate in the floral offering can register via email at participacio@sitges.cat until September 10th at 10 AM.
The program also includes a sardana dance and music performance by the Cobla Maricel at the Cap de la Vila at 7:30 PM, along with other cultural events open to the public.
The day highlights Sitges' commitment to preserving and promoting Catalan culture and traditions, commemorating the defense of Barcelona in 1714.
