The festivity, dedicated to the Mare de Déu de les Neus, has over 250 years of history. Its origin is linked to a popular vow made in the 18th century to protect vineyards from hailstorms, a tradition that has become one of the pillars of the festive heritage of the Generalitat.
The calendar of activities includes highlights such as the Diada Castellera de les Neus on August 1 and the Vigília de Festa Major on the 4th. On August 5, the central day of the festivity and a local holiday, the Cercavila i Renovació del Vot del Poble will take place, while the program will conclude on August 6 with the Cercavila de l'Imaginari.
The festive offer is completed with concerts, children's shows, and activities organized by local associations. As a novelty this year, the official drink of the festival, called Juanita, has been presented to reinforce the participatory nature of the event.
