A vegetation fire reported in L'Albi, within the Garrigues region, caused the suspension of high-speed rail services on Thursday between the Lleida-Pirineus and Camp de Tarragona stations.

The fire's proximity to the railway lines prompted the decision to halt trains, impacting the route connecting Barcelona with Madrid. The blaze, which affected stubble fields near the LV7031 road and the railway line, was declared stabilized by midday.
The Generalitat Firefighters responded with 12 ground crews and three aerial units. The decision to suspend rail traffic was made at the request of the emergency teams.
This incident occurs amidst a context of extreme wildfire risk. According to the Alfa Plan map compiled by the Rural Agents, 64 municipalities across 10 counties are currently at level 3 of very high fire danger.

The affected counties are Conca de Barberà, les Garrigues, la Noguera, el Priorat, la Ribera d'Ebre, la Segarra, el Segrià, el Solsonès, la Terra Alta, and l'Urgell.
