The cycle Vesprades: Cases de la Música als Ateneus celebrates its second edition in 2026, consolidating itself as a local cultural initiative rooted in the territory with the aim of promoting Catalan music. Between September and November, twelve community centers in the province will host a diverse musical program that highlights contemporary creation and the country's emerging and established talent.
Driven by the Federació d’Ateneus de Catalunya and the Casa de la Música de Girona, the cycle exemplifies network collaboration and commitment to the local cultural fabric. Community centers reaffirm their essential role as spaces for meeting, participation, and universal access to culture, building connections and giving meaning to the cultural life of the municipalities.
With the aim of bringing live music to the region and creating shared experiences, Vesprades focuses on intimate formats. This second edition champions community centers as cultural engines.
The Esbart Cultural de la Vall d’Hostoles, one of the organizing entities, has scheduled ALUET to perform on October 10th, at 7 PM, in the Sala de Ca Les Hermanes.
“"I have always thought that there are places to which we can only return by closing our eyes. Aluet is the project with which I write songs. They often stem from the same question: how do we coexist with what is no longer there, but continues to live within us? My first album, Voldria tornar pels que han marxat, is a journey through absences, memories, and the impossible desire to go back. Rather than seeking answers, the songs invite us to inhabit emotions and understand that there are people and moments that, even after leaving, remain a part of us."
Ticket prices are €8 for members and €10 for non-members, including a snack. Tickets can be purchased at www.ateneus.cat/vesprades or at the box office on the day of the event.
