The Mieres City Council has launched two simultaneous participatory processes: a public consultation on the installation of cameras at container areas and a vote on proposals for the Participatory Budgets.

In-person voting will take place between October 14th and 25th. Ballot boxes will be available at the Mieres City Hall during citizen service hours, as well as at the market on the mornings of October 17th and 24th, and at municipal events like the Cinema Transhumant on the afternoon of October 17th. Participants are asked to bring their ID card or an accredited identification document.
The online voting will be available from October 26th until November 1st, through the Decidim platform. Detailed information can be found on the town's notice boards and through the provided links for the public consultation, the voting ballot, and the Decidim platform.
It is reminded that all residents registered in Mieres and those registered in the Citizen Participation Registry are eligible to participate. The results of the votes will have direct application if a participation rate of 25% of eligible voters is achieved.
