The deadline for submitting applications for these social grants will be open from today, October 22, until November 11. The objective is to alleviate the economic burden of maintaining a home for priority groups.
To access the subsidy, applicants must meet requirements such as residing in Cassà throughout 2025, being the holder of the IBI (Property Tax) receipt for their habitual residence (not applicable to rentals), having retiree status or an official single-parent family title, and being up-to-date with payments to public administrations.
The amount of aid, with a maximum of 250 euros per household, depends on the income of the cohabiting unit, with different tiers based on annual income. Special family situations are also considered to facilitate access.
With the slogan "Zero paperwork," the City Council simplifies the process by authorizing online data checks for residency, income, and property ownership, eliminating the need for citizens to submit physical documents.
Applications can be submitted online through the municipal electronic office (www.cassa.cat/subvencions) or in person at the City Council's Citizen Attention Office (OAC), where support will be provided to individuals with digital difficulties.
