The Meteorological Service of Catalonia (SMC) predicts that the threshold of 40 liters per square meter in 30 minutes could be exceeded, particularly in the regions of Catalunya Central, Camp de Tarragona, and Terres de l'Ebre. Storms are also expected to affect areas of Ponent, Penedès, Alt Pirineu i Aran, and inland Girona, and may be accompanied by thunderstorms.
Civil Protection urges extreme caution in mobility and outdoor activities, especially in areas prone to rapid water accumulation or sudden flash floods in streams and torrents.
