Bàsquet Girona concludes the season with a record number of ACB victories and is already working on assembling the squad for the 2026-2027 season, prioritizing the retention of important players.

After concluding the season with a victory against Joventut (82-77), securing them twelfth place and a record 14 wins in the top league, Bàsquet Girona is now looking towards the future. The club's intention is to maintain positive momentum and build a competitive team for the next season, with the continuity of coach Moncho Fernández assured.
The renewal of Martinas Geben, one of the most valued players of the season (averaging 13.7 credits, 6.1 rebounds), is now official. Sporting director Fernando San Emeterio highlighted his successful adaptation to the club and the city. In addition to Geben, the club is working to retain other key players such as Otis Livingston, the most used and top-scoring point guard, and Derek Needham, another pillar with an excellent three-point shooting percentage (44.1%).
The 2025-2026 season has been the club's best in the ACB, with 14 wins and 20 losses. Besides Geben, the continuity of center Nikola Maric and captain Sergi Martínez had already been announced. Maxi Fjellerup and Pep Busquets also have contracts, although the latter's future might be uncertain due to interest from other clubs like Unicaja.
Regarding departures, players like Juan Fernández might head to the NCAA, while the future of Pepe Vildoza, Guillem Ferrando, and Mindaugas Susinskas is uncertain. James Karnik, who joined mid-season, only had a contract until the end of the season.
