A joint operation in Figueres has detected electricity fraud in 16 out of 30 inspected homes in the Sant Joan neighborhood, leading to the disconnection of the affected residences.

The operations, carried out by Endesa, the Mossos d’Esquadra, and the Guàrdia Urbana, are part of broader controls aimed at addressing neighborhood issues and detected violations within the municipality.
Concurrently, two establishments identified as "problematic" by residents, located on Narcís Soler and Méndez Núñez streets, were inspected. These checks resulted in four citations for various infractions and two immigration-related summonses.
The objective of these coordinated operations is to enhance safety and community coexistence in the city by tackling infringement situations identified across various parts of the municipality.
