The match, held in Berlin, saw Spain dominate from the outset (15-25). Despite a comeback from Germany that tied the score at halftime (33-33), a decisive 3-15 run at the start of the third quarter sealed the game (39-55), securing the bronze medal for the Spanish delegation, their fourth in history.
