This change in trend was consolidated during the third quarter of 2025, when 76 of the 135 protection orders filed were approved, exceeding the 59 denials. This figure (56.3% approvals) contrasts sharply with the 35.6% adopted during the same period the previous year, when the majority of resolutions were unfavorable.
The increase in the percentage of adopted protection orders strengthens the judicial response to victims, despite the overall decrease in the number of complaints.
Despite the reduction in the total number of order applications, the judicial response was reinforced with a 23.9% increase in penal measures, rising from 113 to 140. The most frequent were restraining orders (55) and communication bans (75). Suspensions of guardianship and custody (9) also stood out, having doubled.
This shift occurs in a context of generalized decline: victims dropped by 12.6% (697 women) and complaints by 17.9% compared to the third quarter of 2024. A worrying aspect is the 18.1% increase in women who invoked the right not to testify against the aggressor, with 98 cases registered.
