Construction of a roundabout in Llambilles.

The Department of Territori will build a new roundabout at the entrance to Llambilles to alleviate queues on the C-65, keeping the current traffic light solely for pedestrians.

The Department of Territori plans to construct a new roundabout at the access to Llambilles with the aim of reducing queues on the C-65. These traffic jams are currently generated by the traffic light located in the center of the town. Councillor Sílvia Paneque has detailed that the traffic light will remain, but it will be exclusively for pedestrians and with a significantly shorter waiting time.
The project, which has already undergone a public information period, has an estimated investment of 3 million euros. The mayor of Llambilles, Josep Maria Vidal, has positively assessed the initiative, although he considers it a "temporary solution". For this reason, he urges the Generalitat to develop a variant project for the C-65 that bypasses the urban center.
