Clínica Girona has formalized the donation to Fundació Fita of a collection of five artistic works, including stained glass and a relief panel, created by Domènec Fita in 1965 for its former premises in Girona.

These consist of four stained glass pieces from the former chapel and a relief panel, all made of reinforced cement, which were specifically commissioned from Fita by architect Joan Maria de Ribot during the expansion of the healthcare center. For over six decades, these pieces have been part of the entity's artistic heritage, representing the integration of abstract contemporary art into the civil architecture of 20th-century Girona.
The agreement was signed by the president of the Diputació de Girona and Fundació Fita, Miquel Noguer, and the manager of Clínica Girona, Miquel Grabulosa, at the supramunicipal entity's headquarters.
With this donation, Fundació Fita assumes full ownership of the five works, incorporates them into the artist's legacy, and ensures their preservation as a testament to a period of Fita's artistic production and to keep alive the memory of his connection with Clínica Girona.
The preservation of this collection aligns with the mission of Fundació Fita, established in 2000, which is dedicated to preserving and disseminating the work and thought of Domènec Fita, cataloging his production, and promoting knowledge of his art.
