The Girona Provincial Council is promoting the «A tocar» project, an initiative that brings music to individuals facing cultural exclusion through concerts and workshops in hospitals, socio-sanitary centers, and penitentiary facilities across the province.

The project «A tocar», organized by the Fundació Casa de la Música de les Comarques Gironines (Girona Region Music House Foundation), uses music to create spaces for connection, participation, and emotional development. This initiative facilitates direct contact with artistic creation and fosters cultural inclusion for people who often cannot access cultural offerings on equal terms.
In this new program, activities will take place at the Girona Doctor Josep Trueta University Hospital, the Zoilo Feliu Municipal Geriatric Residence in La Bisbal d'Empordà, the Puig de les Basses Penitentiary Center in Figueres, the Gent Gran center in Palafrugell, the Transfronterer Hospital in Puigcerdà, and the Martí i Julià Hospital Park in Salt.
The series will feature performances by singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Núria Mancebo; the duo Blaus i Brises; singer, musician, and producer Ramon Mirabet; Les Boscaleres, with a repertoire inspired by root music and popular tradition; singer-songwriter Mandi Rules, and percussionist and workshop facilitator Nan Mercader.
Technical assistance for the project is provided by the Fundació Casa de la Música de les Comarques Gironines, based in Salt, which works to promote music as a tool for social transformation through educational programs, support for emerging artists, and activities that contribute to a diverse and accessible music scene.
