The story of Dominik Livaković at Girona concludes as a peculiar anecdote. The international goalkeeper for Croatia, with vast experience in national team competitions, did not play a single official minute defending the club's badge. The player, originally from Zadar, terminated his loan with the red-and-white club and did not participate in the morning training session under Míchel.

The decision not to play was due to the fact that, had he played an official match with Girona, he would not have been able to sign for a third club this season, having already played the Champions League qualifiers last August. Livaković returns to Dinamo Zagreb, one of his previous teams, on a simple loan. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Croatian club will pay 300,000 euros to Fenerbahçe, the club that owns his rights until 2028. Fenerbahçe had paid 6.65 million euros to the Zagreb side in 2023 for the player.
