The guided tour, led by Carme Clusellas, the museum's director, is part of the Museu al Territori (Museum to the Territory) project. This initiative, launched in 2024, aims to bring artworks closer to their places of origin and inform local communities about the conservation and dissemination of their legacy at the museum.
During the tour, notable works linked to Cruïlles were viewed, including the Christ in Majesty (1101-1150), a polychrome wooden sculpture; the Cruïlles Beam (1200), a rare European example of a polychrome beam with human figures from the 12th-13th centuries; the tomb of Jofre Gilabert de Cruïlles (1339-1360); and the altarpiece of Sant Miquel de Cruïlles (1416), by Lluís Borrassà.
Collaboration with the municipality of Cruïlles, Monells i Sant Sadurní de l’Heura began in 2025 with school activities. This visit marks the first step towards future collaborations with the town's residents.
