The concert series Intrús. Jazz pel forat del pany marks its 9th edition, featuring five musical performances between September 11 and October 25 in heritage sites throughout the Lluçanès region.

The event aims to offer an experience that extends beyond the concert, connecting music, heritage, and local produce. Churches, farmhouses, and other unique locations in the territory will serve as stages for a diverse program within the jazz genre, incorporating influences from root music, gospel, and contemporary creation.
The program kicks off on Friday, September 11, at the church square in Alpens with XC7 performing 'A Musical Portrait of Joan Miró', a proposal by Xavi Castillo inspired by the universe of Joan Miró.
On Sunday, September 27, at Sant Adjutori d’Olost, the Marta Duran Quartet will present 'Shine', the debut album by saxophonist and composer Marta Duran, blending traditional jazz with Brazilian and pop elements.
The third event is scheduled for October 11 at Mas Anfruns d’Alpens, featuring Kohero and their project 'Rizomes', winner of the 2026 Artistic Creation Grants. This concert combines jazz with dramatized readings of texts inspired by the local flora and fauna of Lluçanès.
On Sunday, October 18, at Cal Tic de Sobremunt, Karol Green & Sol Kwaya will present 'Rejoice!', a gospel concert led by South African singer Karol Green.
The cycle will conclude on Sunday, October 25, at Ca l’Andreuet de Prats de Lluçanès, with Carola Ortiz and her album 'Cantareras'. In a duo format with multi-instrumentalist Àlex Guitart, Ortiz revisits Iberian traditional music from a female perspective.
Beyond the music, the cycle aims to showcase the cultural heritage of Lluçanès. Each session will include a guided tour of the venue and a tasting of local products, strengthening the connection between artistic creation, heritage, and regional produce.
Advance tickets are priced at 8 euros and can be purchased at lluçanes.cat/intrus. At the door, tickets will cost 10 euros. A season pass for all concerts is available for 25 euros, and children under 12 enter for free.
The Intrús. Jazz pel forat del pany cycle is an initiative by the Escola de Música i Arts del Lluçanès and the Consorci del Lluçanès, supported by the town councils of Alpens, Olost, Prats de Lluçanès, and Sobremunt, the Xarxa de Productes de la Terra, and the Diputació de Barcelona.
