This second edition of the awards seeks to advance gender equality in sports by recognizing careers, achievements, and projects that promote female participation. The Consorci del Lluçanès encourages athletes, clubs, organizations, and local councils in the region to nominate outstanding female candidates.
The awards come with a total endowment of 46,000 euros and include six categories: Athlete of the Year, Team of the Year, Young Sports Performance, Sporting Career, Sports Entity, and Municipal Project. Additionally, a Women in Sport Recognition, without financial reward, will be presented to honor women who foster women's sports from various fields.
The goal is to showcase local talent and initiatives that positively impact the growth of women's sports in the region. The Consorci del Lluçanès will centralize the collection of nominations through a dedicated online form.
Subsequently, each local council within the region will evaluate the submitted nominations and send one proposal for each award. The deadline for submitting nominations in Lluçanès is September 23, 2026.
