The Arenys de Mar City Council has announced the resumption of works on the Plana Paradís-Carrer Olivar wall, which will begin on October 13. These works include the undergrounding of water pipes, the removal of electricity poles, and the preparation of the ground for the undergrounding of the electricity and telephone lines. Subsequently, the sidewalk will be prepared with concrete for the placement of paving stones and asphalt.
The works will last approximately two months and will involve traffic disruptions between 9:15 AM and 4:30 PM. Outside these hours, traffic will be able to circulate normally.
The following traffic restrictions are detailed: drivers with parking on Carrer de l'Olivar will only be able to access up to number 51. Vehicles from Carrer Bareu will have to turn onto Carrer Arquitecte Gaudí. Drivers needing to access Plana d’en Fornaguera and Avicultura streets will also have to exit via Arquitecte Gaudí afterwards. Pla dels Frares and the descent of Professor Castelló will not be affected.
