Persistent rains in Cabrils have caused new damage and utility disruptions over the past three days, even as cleanup efforts continue.

The municipality of Cabrils has accumulated 250 liters per square meter in just three days due to the rainstorm. This morning, a new downpour caused a tree to fall on the Camí de Mataró, forcing traffic diversions through adjacent streets. However, cleanup operations are ongoing in various parts of the town.
Early this morning, another shower caused a new electricity supply failure in the southern part of the municipality, which has since been repaired. In response, the City Council has set up the Can Pepito Maco municipal space as a provisional teleworking hub for those who needed to work from home and lacked electricity or internet access.
Currently, the only municipal facility closed is the CEM sports center, due to water entering the boiler room. Members will be informed as soon as the facility is operational again.
The Generalitat (Catalan Government) has activated the INUNCAT plan due to the possibility of further intense rainfall this afternoon. The public is urged to exercise maximum prudence and caution.
