The Town Council of Caldes d'Estrac has revalidated its two Flowers of Honour from the Viles Florides project, acknowledging its continuous efforts in improving and maintaining urban green spaces.

The jury of the Viles Florides project has maintained the recognition for the municipality of Caldes d'Estrac for its efforts and improvements in urban green spaces. This distinction certifies that the town continues to invest in the maintenance and enhancement of natural ecosystems, thereby improving the quality of the environment and the lives of its population.
The Town Council carries out various actions such as mowing, pruning, shredding and collecting branches, and phytosanitary treatments for the care of gardens and green areas. These tasks were positively evaluated during the visit of Viles Florides representatives last March, who firsthand learned about the most outstanding areas of the town.
The Viles Florides gala, held in Reus, has confirmed the distinction for Caldes d'Estrac. The project evaluates aspects such as landscape integration, the relationship between green spaces and the population, water management, energy saving, biodiversity, and environmental education.
In the case of Caldes d'Estrac, its combination of sea and mountain is highlighted, with a lung of Mediterranean vegetation and a network of parks and gardens. Can Muntanyà Park, the promenade, and the thermal baths are examples of the town's floral jewels.
