The Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística (CNL) in Maresme has relaunched six conversation spaces across the region, including discussion groups and easy reading clubs, to promote spoken Catalan practice.

The 'Voluntariat per la Llengua' (VxL) program of the CNL del Maresme has launched a new cycle of activities to promote Catalan practice in the region. Currently, six conversation spaces are offered, including discussion groups and easy reading clubs, facilitated by committed volunteers.
These spaces are designed to create a friendly and relaxed environment where participants can practice speaking Catalan. The success of this initiative relies on the selfless commitment of the volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to the program.
The six currently active spaces are: in Caldes d'Estrac, a discussion group on Thursdays from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at Àgape Caldetes; in Calella, a discussion group on Tuesdays from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM and an easy reading club on Thursdays from 10 AM to 11 AM, both at the Can Salvador de la Plaça Library; in Premià de Mar, a discussion group on Mondays from 11 AM to 12 PM at the Civic Center.
Activities are also available in Sant Pol de Mar, with a discussion group on Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Can Coromines Library; and in Vilassar de Mar, with a discussion group on Monday mornings (10-11 AM) and afternoons (6-7 PM) at Espai Galbany.
For more detailed information about these initiatives, please consult the specific section on VxL Discussion Groups on the CNL del Maresme website.
