During the early hours of October 5th to 6th, the Local Police of Canet de Mar conducted a preventive intervention. This operation was made possible by citizen collaboration, which alerted them to the presence of a vehicle with French license plates parked in a municipal car park.
Officers identified two individuals who had multiple police records related to property crimes. During the search of the vehicle, various tools and objects were seized that were allegedly linked to potential criminal activities.
This action is part of the robbery prevention initiative that the Local Police of Canet de Mar is carrying out in coordination with the Mossos d'Esquadra from Arenys de Mar.
The City Council emphasizes the importance of citizen collaboration in detecting suspicious situations and preventing crimes, as well as the coordination between police forces to enhance municipal security.
