The closing program of the NEC includes two distinct musical offerings. Today, Friday, audiences can enjoy a double concert featuring performances by Northern Cellos and n’Gai n’Gai. Tomorrow, Saturday, the night will be dedicated to a tribute to Mecano with the group Héroes de la Antártida.
Friday's event, starting at 9 PM, will showcase Northern Cellos with their show "Let’s Rock, Let’s Dance… Let’s Cello!". This performance combines four electric cellos and drums to reinterpret iconic rock, dance, and metal tracks. Following them, n’Gai n’Gai, a band from Sant Pol, will take the stage. They are bidding farewell to their career after 43 years with their final tour, "El darrer combat".
The second and final night of the festival, tomorrow Saturday at 10 PM, will feature Héroes de la Antártida, a tribute band dedicated to Mecano. The concert will present a journey through the greatest hits of the Madrid-based band, performing over twenty popular songs from the eighties and nineties.
With these two concerts, the NEC marks the end of a special edition that has commemorated the festival's 15th anniversary. This year's program has featured a total of 18 events, including concerts, tributes, stand-up comedy, and new artistic proposals.
Tickets for Friday's concert are still available through the Entràpolis platform. However, tickets for tomorrow's Mecano tribute have already sold out.
