The plenary session of the Pineda City Council has approved the 2027 Fiscal Ordinances with the support of the municipal government of the PSC, the abstention of Pineda en Comú, and the opposing votes of ERC, Junts, and the PP.

Next year, the Property Tax (IBI) will increase in line with the CPI, with a rise in the tax rate from 0.84 to 0.87. The waste collection fee and vehicle tax will remain unchanged. The 30% discount for using the recycling center is maintained, and the discount for cars over 25 years old is eliminated, while electric cars retain 75% and hybrids (eco) will now have a 25% discount.
The public company Via a Punt is updating the rates for green and blue parking zones. Green zones for residents remain free, and blue zones will increase by 5 cents. The annual fee for non-residents will be raised. The capital gains tax amount is updated, but discounts for properties over 20 years old are maintained, except for buildings over 500m2. Municipal services related to the cemetery are also updated.
Opposition groups questioned some decisions, particularly the IBI increase and the reduction of discounts for hybrid and older vehicles. The government defends the revenue update to cover service costs. Mayor Sílvia Biosca argued that constant tax freezes make it difficult to pay for public services.
The plenary session also approved credit modifications for equality projects, cooperation, the new I2 classroom, and cultural activities, and rectified the VAT on the home care contract.
During the open forum, ERC inquired about the decree on public worker sick days, the economic consequences of the municipal strike, public lighting, and the pigeon control contract. They also criticized aspects of the Festa Major and called for better coordination between Culture and Youth departments.
Junts per Pineda focused on the labor conflict, the agreement with the Local Police, fiber optic deployment, forest fire prevention, and the future of the Roman aqueduct. They also relayed resident complaints about sewage issues on Església street.
The Popular Party called for a swift resolution to the conflict with the municipal brigade, inquired about the purchase of the future Local Police building, and about various urban planning files, including asbestos removal.
Pineda en Comú emphasized social policies and urban planning, questioning the lack of project submissions for the Diputació's cultural facilities call and lamenting the absence of a Mobility Week. They also inquired about school maintenance and pending investments from the Generalitat, as well as housing access.
