Pilar Castillejo, a Member of Parliament for the CUP, has demanded the appearance of the Minister of Interior, Núria Parlon, and the Director General of the Police, Josep Lluís Trapero, to detail the "gratuitous violence" that she claims occurred during the eviction of a family with four minors in Mataró. The anti-capitalist group has also requested official information from the Interior department regarding this police operation.

Castillejo lamented that, according to her sources, Mossos d’Esquadra officers used foam bullets during the eviction incidents. These events led to the arrest of three minors and minor injuries to five police officers.

On a separate note, the MP commented on the Pope's visit to Catalonia and the use of the Catalan language. She stated that the CUP "cares very little about the pontiff's stay in Catalonia" and criticized the associated expenses. She emphasized the government's role regarding the language, asserting that "when it comes down to it, Catalan is only a priority when it doesn't inconvenience anyone."

Finally, regarding statements made by Jordi Turull, Secretary General of Junts, who suggested a meeting between Alberto Núñez Feijóo (PP) and Carles Puigdemont in Waterloo to negotiate a motion of no confidence, Castillejo opined that Junts and ERC are "emptying" Parliament of sovereignty and focusing attention on Spanish politics.
