Among the actions evaluated are the free availability of water, the offering of non-alcoholic beverages, staff training, distribution of preventive materials, information on safe mobility options, and protocols to prevent sexual violence. It also includes the 'Punt Lila' (Purple Point) to address sexist and LGTBIfobic violence, and the Rula space for information on health and drug consumption, breathalyzer tests, and distribution of preventive materials.
The Festa Major de la Minerva thus consolidates itself as a model of inclusive and responsible leisure. These measures are complemented by awareness campaigns, specific training for staff, and an enhanced offering of 0.0% beverages, as well as identification wristbands to prevent alcohol consumption among minors.
With this distinction, Calella joins Palafolls and Tordera, bringing the total number of distinguished major festivals in Catalonia to 9. This initiative is part of the 'Nits de Qualitat' (Quality Nights) program by the Generalitat de Catalunya, which aims to promote healthier and more inclusive leisure.
