Mataró's Plaça de Santa Anna hosted a new performance by Minyons de Terrassa, invited to the main festival of the capital of the Maresme region. The 'colla' from Terrassa shared the square with the hosts, Capgrossos de Mataró, and Castellers de Vilafranca.
Minyons de Terrassa began the day with a solid 4 of 9 with 'folre', their second of the season. In the second round, they successfully completed a 2 of 9 with 'folre' and 'manilles'. However, heavy rain forced the 'colla' to abandon their planned execution of a 3 of 9 with 'folre' for safety reasons, as the 'castellers'' shirts became wet. To conclude their performance, they built a 7-level pillar.
Castellers de Vilafranca particularly stood out by presenting a 3 of 9 with 'folre' and agulla in the second round, a structure not seen since 2019, when the same 'colla' erected it for the Sant Fèlix festival.
The event also included an emotional tribute to Mariona, a 12-year-old girl from Capgrossos de Mataró who passed away in 2006 during the Les Santes festival. To conclude the event, all three 'collas' jointly built three pillars.
