The Tiana City Council has announced its intention to join the judicial proceedings against the individual arrested for allegedly starting the fire that on Friday forced the confinement of four municipalities.

The council communicated its intent to "defend the municipality's interests" and "demand that all corresponding responsibilities be assumed" following the fire.
The fire, reported shortly before 11 AM on Friday, had at least five ignition points. As a precautionary measure, four municipalities were confined: Sant Fost de Campsentelles, Martorelles, Santa Maria de Martorelles, and Tiana. The Colònia Bosc urbanization and La Conreria hostel were also confined.
The City Council emphasizes that starting a fire represents "an attack" on natural heritage, "safety," and environmental protection.
On Saturday, firefighters continue to work on extinguishing the blaze, which is now under control and has affected approximately 48 hectares.
