Tordera hosts the Josep Barceló Memorial with teams like Barça and Real Sociedad

Tordera will be the venue for the 27th edition of the Josep Barceló Memorial on June 6th and 7th, a youth football tournament that will feature renowned national teams.

The town of Tordera is preparing to host the 27th edition of the Josep Barceló Memorial, a prestigious youth football tournament taking place on June 6th and 7th. The event will bring together prominent teams from the national football scene.
Among this year's most notable participants are FC Barcelona, Real Sociedad, and CA Osasuna. The lineup is further strengthened by the presence of Villarreal CF, Valencia CF, Girona FC, Real Zaragoza, FC Andorra, and CF Damm.
Organized by the Josep Barceló Memorial Association, the tournament will be held at the Camp Municipal d’Esports de Tordera. It will feature 64 teams across the U10, U11, and U12 male categories, as well as women's and inclusive football teams.
The official presentation of the event will take place this Wednesday, May 27th, at L’Esplai de Tordera at 8 PM. The event will include a round table discussion titled “The World of Youth Football,” featuring journalist Xavi Torres, coach Jordi Guerrero, the youth football coordinator for Girona FC, Edgar Galán, and the coordinator and first-team coach of CF Tordera, Guillem Ferrer.
The closing of the presentation will be handled by the Josep Barceló Memorial Association and the mayor of Tordera, Elisabet Mejías.
