During the meeting, various companies presented real engineering, innovation, and technology challenges for the students. Participants included Aigües de Mataró, OrtoCanis, Urbidermis, and Quota Vita, each presenting proposals aligned with their current activities and challenges.
Aigües de Mataró focused its proposals on technological and engineering challenges related to water management and its infrastructure. OrtoCanis, specializing in orthopedics and rehabilitation for companion animals, presented challenges in product development and veterinary technology.
Meanwhile, Urbidermis, dedicated to public space solutions, presented proposals on urban furniture, lighting, and urban space transformation. Quota Vita, focused on valorizing whey from the cheese industry, proposed innovation challenges within its processes.
This collaboration allows students to gain firsthand knowledge of the professional world's needs and to base their TFGs on concrete opportunities within the business environment.
The session also included TFG proposals put forward by faculty from industrial studies in areas such as technology, acoustics, diversity, and neuroscience, thereby broadening the range of available research topics for students.
