The Tiana City Council has mobilized all municipal brigades and cleaning and gardening staff to address incidents caused by this morning's torrential rain, which has affected several parts of the town.

Operations have been prioritized based on the degree of impact, with emergency interventions this Sunday continuing on Monday with reinforced machinery. Despite various incidents, there have been no personal injuries. Most material damage consists of landslides, fallen branches, and a vehicle parked in the stream.
Branches that have been cordoned off will be removed tomorrow, and street cleaning will be intensified to clear muddy or leaf-strewn streets. Since Saturday, the Municipal Civil Protection Plan (DUPROCIM) has been active in an emergency phase, coordinated with the Special Plan for Flood Emergencies in Catalonia (INUNCAT). Some areas have accumulated over 200 mm of water in a short period.
The Riera d’en Font stream area has been the most severely affected, with restoration work potentially taking several days. The Municipal Brigade has cleared a path between homes and Verge del Pilar street, which is now open only to residents of the Riera d’en Font, with two-way traffic regulated by a traffic light. Non-resident citizens are asked to avoid accessing this area.
Tomorrow morning, heavy machinery will resume work to remove stones, mud, and reeds accumulated at the upper part of the stream, between Mare de Déu del Carme street and the Font de can Comas. Access to the Riera d’en Font, as well as can Jordana and Mare de Déu del Carme street, are blocked, except for residents.
Other incidents include minor landslides on paths such as from can Gosch to Torrent d’en Montcerdà, behind the cemetery, Escalfapé, Camí Alt d’Alella, and La Virreina. Access to La Cartoixa is blocked due to landslide risk, and the B500 was closed due to falling stones.
Branches have fallen in several parks, including Doctor Barraquer and Vicente Lino Ferrandiz. Regarding facilities, the pavilion has experienced flooding, and the Dioptria center has had water infiltration affecting its electrical system. The Dioptria's study room will reopen tomorrow, but the house of entities and the Espai Jove may take longer.
The Local Police has handled dozens of calls for flooded basements and, with the Fire Department, responded to a collapsed party wall between two private properties on Sant Francesc street. The City Council had already issued preventive warnings since Saturday regarding the removal of vehicles from stream beds and safety recommendations.
