Officers from the Tiana Local Police opened a sanctioning file against a resident after identifying the ownership of five bags of waste deposited outside the established days and hours. The fine applied, which starts at 60 euros per infringement, amounts to 300 euros in this case.
This action is part of the increased control over the Public Road Cleaning ordinance. During the last month alone, the Local Police processed a total of 10 sanctions for various violations of this municipal regulation.
The most common infractions include emptying, dumping, or depositing residual materials on the roadway, sidewalks, tree pits, or undeveloped plots. Washing vehicles on public roads or using construction containers without the corresponding municipal license are also penalized.
Annual data shows significant sanctioning activity. Over the last year, 221 sanctions have been imposed for infringing various ordinances related to cleanliness. Of these, 80 correspond to waste abandonment and 141 to the improper use of construction containers without a permit in Tiana.
