BumFest is conceived as a different kind of day, full of proposals for families to learn and enjoy together. The festival will include workshops, talks, music, and activities specifically designed for families, creating a space to discover, experiment, and have fun collectively. This initiative addresses the need to establish an environment where families can spend time together, learn, and find tools to face the challenges of community-based parenting, making the process easier.
The event combines dissemination, experience, and participation. Workshops for children accompanied by adults, a dedicated space for babies, and a free play area with traditional street games have been organized. Additionally, two talks on parenting will be held, one featuring the renowned pediatric nurse, writer, and educator Armando Bastida.
The festival will take place in various locations around the town, including Plaça de la Vila, Parc de l’Antic Camp de Futbol, can Baratau, Plaça del Coro, Sala Albéniz, and Jardí Lola Anglada. All activities are free of charge.
The day will feature a family gathering and social space during lunchtime, concluding with a concert by the Sedajazz Young Band, presenting creative music, improvisation, and a festive repertoire for all ages.
