The initiative, celebrated throughout Catalonia during these days, invites citizens to rediscover the municipality's legacy. The program will begin on October 9th at 6 PM at the Memorial Espai Franch-Clapers with the presentation of the book "Castellterçol: entre la República i la Guerra Civil" (Castellterçol: Between the Republic and the Civil War). The event will feature Vicenç Sánchez, historians Núria Cabañas Anguita and Pere Tardà Serra, and will be presented by the Councilor for Heritage, Mr. Albert Obrero.
On the same Friday, at 9 PM, the Centre Espai Escènic will host the musical performance "Mercè", a concert focusing on the Civil War, historical memory, and songs from that era. On October 11th, the Casa Museu Prat de la Riba (Prat de la Riba House Museum) will offer a guided tour at 12 PM, organized by the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage. This activity costs €8 and requires prior registration at pratdelariba.cultura@gencat.cat or by calling 938 666 362.
Both the Casa Museu Prat de la Riba and the Memorial Democràtic Franch-Clapers (Franch-Clapers Democratic Memorial) will hold open house days from October 9th to 11th. Additionally, on Sunday, October 11th, the J. M. Anzizu Foundation is organizing two activities at the Castell (Castle): a gathering with a Eucharist celebration at 11 AM, followed by the 'joc de la Virola' (a traditional game) and a guided tour of the historical parts of the Castle. In the afternoon, at 6 PM, a concert by Nayarit Duo, featuring Agnieszka Danilecha on flute and Marcos Sánchez on guitar, will take place with a 'pay-what-you-want' system.
Subsequently, during the Fira de Fires (Fair of Fairs), participatory workshops on the recovery of traditional crafts and trades such as ceramics, woodworking, espadrille making, and jewelry making will be organized, offering an opportunity to discover traditional know-how.
