The Amposta City Council has formalized a collaboration agreement with APASA and the Amposta Institute of Technification to promote educational, social, and sports activities with a strong inclusive focus.

The signing of the agreement, which took place on Friday, May 8, at APASA's facilities, solidifies an alliance aimed at enhancing social inclusion, coexistence, and community participation for people with functional diversity. This initiative will be realized through adapted physical and sports activities.

"This agreement unites three key pillars of society: inclusion, education, and sport. Amposta is an educating city, a sporting city, and also an inclusive city."

The general director of APASA emphasized that the agreement represents a step forward in recognizing the local associative fabric and increasing sports practice, especially the social inclusion of people with functional diversity and their families. Furthermore, he explained that the agreement will facilitate the participation of students from the Institute of Technification in various activities at APASA's facilities, including sports days, educational workshops, and initiatives related to health and sport.

"These are projects that do not just add, but multiply. Initiatives like this allow us to understand the importance of diversity and move towards a richer and wiser society."
