El Trabucador was one of the main stages for the total solar eclipse that crossed Catalonia, attracting thousands of people who gathered in this natural space to witness the astronomical phenomenon by the sea. The day turned the Ebro Delta into a meeting point for families, visitors, and astronomy enthusiasts.
The City Council of La Ràpita has emphasized the importance of the planning, coordination, and deployment work of the special device designed to ensure safety and manage access and mobility at El Trabucador. The operation involved various security and emergency services and bodies, with coordination from the City Council of Amposta and the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The mayor of La Ràpita, Xavi Reverté, congratulated those involved in the operation and highlighted the day's outcome. Reverté emphasized the prominence of El Trabucador during the eclipse, noting it was one of the best places in Catalonia to experience it, with a "spectacular image" of the bay during sunset.
