According to the map from the Rural Agents' Plan Alfa, no Catalan municipality will register an extreme fire risk (level 4) this Monday. This improvement will permit the reopening of access to all natural spaces that had been closed for prevention.
The natural spaces regaining access are Baronia de Rialb, Montsec de Rúbies, Montsec d'Ares, and Ribera Salada. These areas had been closed to ensure safety against the risk of major fires.
Despite the general reduction in risk and the forecast of storms in several regions, 71 municipalities in Catalonia, located in the central and western parts of the territory, will still maintain a level 3 fire risk, considered very high.
