One of the most emotional moments of the evening was the presentation of the Premi d’Honor Cultura Balaguer to bookseller Jaume Casals Escribà. Casals, who ran the historic La Noguera bookstore for fifty years, served as Councillor for Culture in Balaguer for 16 years, and is a distinguished cultural activist in the city.
During the ceremony, the Grants for Creative Support and the Ziryab City of Balaguer Awards were also presented, aimed at fostering new cultural and artistic projects linked to the region. The gala featured musical and dance performances that enlivened the award presentations.
