The Fira Jove (Youth Fair), held on Saturday at Plaça Planell, was the stage where the 12 participating youth associations acted as ambassadors for their municipalities. Under the theme "the occupations of my town," the young people set up thematic stands, featuring both current and traditional trades, and represented these occupations through costumes and decorative elements. These stands competed in a contest with cash prizes for the top three.
The gathering brought together youth entities from towns such as Balaguer, Baronia de Rialb, Bellmunt d’Urgell, Cabanabona, Cubells, Gerb, La Sentiu de Sió, Les Avellanes, Menàrguens, Penelles, Térmens, Vilanova de l’Aguda, and Ponts itself.
Saturday's events began with the inaugural ceremony, presided over by institutional representatives including the president of the Consell Comarcal (County Council), Miquel Plensa, vice-president Maricel Segú, the director of the Territorial Services of Youth in Lleida, Blanca Moreno, and the mayor of Ponts, Josep Tàpies. The evening featured a free concert headlined by Dj Trapella, the cover band La Quinta, and sets by Dj Fantasy and Dj Sold3k.
The program of activities extended throughout the weekend, including a scavenger hunt, a botifarra (sausage) contest, bingo, a parade with the Festucs Brass Band, and performances by the Colla Sardanista de Ponts and the Colla Gegantera de Ponts. Sunday included a rafting descent and an acrobatic silks workshop at the Parc de la Roca del Call.
One of the most anticipated moments was the closing ceremony and the handover of the Comarkalada, where it was announced that Os de Balaguer will be the host for the next edition. The event, organized by the Associació de Joves de Ponts (Ponts Youth Association), the Town Council, and the Youth Office of the Consell Comarcal de la Noguera, is part of the County Youth Plan aimed at promoting territorial balance and social cohesion among the region's youth.
