The action aims to facilitate pedestrian and cyclist mobility and improve road safety. The works are expected to begin next spring and have an execution period of 10 months.
The works include widening the existing bridge to adapt its parapet and construct a new cantilevered pedestrian walkway, which will connect to the surrounding road network. The drainage system, signage, safety barriers, and lighting will also be improved, along with repair and rehabilitation tasks for other structural elements.
