The activities, suitable for all ages, will take place on Sundays October 11 and 25 and November 8. All walks will begin at 9 AM from Plaça Josep Espona and will last approximately three to four hours. Participants are advised to wear comfortable footwear and bring water.
The first route, on Sunday October 11, is titled 'El Fitó: stone, time, and territory'. This session will focus on local geology and history through the Fitó Quarry, analyzing the origin of the limestone, its geological value, and its influence on the landscape and human activities in the area.
On Sunday October 25, the route 'El passat en tinta' (The past in ink) invites participants to explore the world of historical documents and paleography. The aim is to learn how to interpret ancient texts to better understand past events in Balenyà and its surroundings.
Finally, on Sunday November 8, the walk 'El món rural i el comunal' (The rural and communal world) will examine the evolution of the rural landscape, communal spaces, and the historical significance of agricultural and livestock activities for the territory.
To participate in these routes, pre-registration is required through an online form. The organizers have also announced that attendees who complete all three routes will receive a special gift.
