The event, focused on local commerce and gastronomy, began at 9 AM and featured a varied program including trade, crafts, culture, and family activities across different town areas. The opening ceremony included the traditional parade of giants, 'capgrossos' (big-heads), and the fair's mascot.
Participants offered a wide range of food products, prepared dishes, farm-raised meats, local produce, and crafts. At the Plaça Onze de Setembre, traditional grills allowed visitors to cook their purchases, while food trucks provided gastronomic options from various regions. The gastronomic area hosted a live cooking demonstration by chef Gil Currius.
A highlight was the 11th Jam Competition, with 15 entries from 9 participants. Awards went to Xus Robles for plum and raisin jam (sweetest), Montse Costa for prickly pear jam (most original), and Nati Arimany for tomato jam (best tasting).
The Painting and Sketch Exhibition was affected by the afternoon rain, as were some family activities like chess games, which moved indoors to the Auditori Teatre. The 5th Classic Car Meeting was another point of interest.
Due to the activation of the INUNCAT emergency plan, the Cuisine and Health workshop was canceled. The rain forced the suspension of some afternoon activities for safety, although the fair managed to carry out much of its program.
The Instagram contest #firamercecalldetenes26 awarded the photo from @eva_sofresh. The Calldetenes Town Council thanked all involved, emphasizing the fair's importance for the commerce and social life of the Osona region.
