On Monday, October 5, 2026, the third and final group session of the Work and Training Program 2025 was held. Through this initiative, 19 people who were unemployed had the opportunity to work for a year in various town halls within the region and at the Osona Regional Council. Their tasks included roles such as cleaning operative, civic agent, or administrative assistant.
The final session was structured by the program's technician around three main axes: evaluating the experience gained through a group dynamic; providing guidance on the administrative procedures following the program's conclusion, such as registering with the SOC or applying for unemployment benefits from the SEPE; and career guidance, covering topics like resume and cover letter preparation, mock job interviews, and available job search resources.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session and the official closing of the program. The overall feedback from participants was highly positive, with particular emphasis on the employment and training opportunities provided. Many expressed a wish for the program to have been longer.
The program Work and Training 2026 – local entities is jointly funded by the Servei Públic d’Ocupació de Catalunya (Catalan Public Employment Service) and the Conferència Sectorial d’Ocupació i Afers Laborals (Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labor Affairs) of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy.
