Minister of Education Visits Vic City Council

Esther Niubó meets with Mayor Albert Castells and Councillor Elisabet Franquesa to discuss local education matters.

The Minister of Education of the Generalitat, Esther Niubó, visited the Vic City Council this Friday, where she was welcomed by Mayor Albert Castells and Education Councillor Elisabet Franquesa.

The meeting also included Councillor for Maintenance and Services, Ester Coma, the Government delegate for Central Catalonia, Elia Tortolero, and the director of Territorial Services for Education in Central Catalonia, Sarai Gómez.
During her visit to the council building, the Minister toured the main halls and signed the city's Book of Honor. In her inscription, Niubó highlighted "Vic's commitment to education, as a driver and source of progress, equal opportunities, and cohesion".
The day concluded with a working meeting focused on the city's educational services, attended by the Mayor, the Minister of Education, the Education Councillor, the Government delegate, and the director of Territorial Services.
