The Osona-based club officially announced that Axel Vizuete will take over the team's dugout next season. This decision comes after La Muntanyesa announced last Thursday that Vizuete would be leaving the club after two seasons. La Monta, meanwhile, is already working to find a replacement for the coach who led the team for the past two campaigns.

Vizuete joins Tona to replace Raúl Paje, another former coach of La Muntanyesa who was in charge of the Osona team this past season. Paje managed La Monta for almost three years. Now, the Tona board is betting on Vizuete, who managed to save the Nou Barris team from relegation in his first year and this past season competed for a play-off spot, finishing in eleventh place.

With this signing, Unió Esportiva Tona is relying on Vizuete's experience, having previously coached teams such as Girona B, Banyoles, Unió Esportiva, La Jonquera, and Penya Esportiva d’Eivissa in the Segunda Federación.
