The Gurb City Council has received a grant from the Secretaría de Estado de Igualdad to fund actions against gender-based violence for the 2025-2026 fiscal years.

The objective of this grant, part of the "State Pact against Gender Violence," is to unite public institutions, autonomous communities, local entities, and parliamentary groups in a common, long-term framework to prevent and eradicate all forms of violence against women.
The funds received will enable the promotion of actions aimed at preventing, raising awareness, and eradicating violence against women, as well as strengthening municipal competencies in this area. Specifically, the Equality Quota 2026 (gender equality, LGTBI, and gender-based violence policies) and the Home Care Service (SAD) for the first and second quarters of 2026 have been subsidized.
These initiatives contribute to promoting effective equality between women and men, preventing gender-based violence, and reinforcing municipal services for citizen support and care.
