The initiative, which will be set up at the market on the first Friday of each month, will offer handmade products created by the entity's users. This stall will be directly managed by users from the Centre Ocupacional Sant Tomàs in Tona, located at the Espai Muriel Casals.
This project aims to bring the work developed at the occupational center closer to the public and, at the same time, foster active participation of users in the municipality's life. Managing the stall will also provide opportunities to develop social and work skills in a real-world setting, through tasks related to sales and customer service.
With this addition, the Tona Market expands its offerings with a new initiative linked to local commerce and the social economy, while also raising awareness for a project with a significant community impact.
The stall will debut on Friday, October 2nd, and will be available at the market on the first Friday of every month during its regular opening hours.
