The main objective of this intervention is to ensure proper water flow and minimize risks from potential torrential rain episodes, especially with the arrival of autumn.
The work involved removing waste, plant debris, and other accumulated items that could obstruct the ravine's natural drainage. This action was carried out on a section of over 200 meters crossing the urban area of Tremp, between the pedestrian footbridge and the bridge on the C-13 road.
These types of maintenance and prevention activities are performed periodically in the municipality, with reinforcement during the months leading up to autumn.
The execution of the work was handled by the company Gestió Integral del Territori Abrantes, with a total cost of 2,145 euros, fully financed by the Tremp City Council.
The council plans to continue cleaning the remaining section of the Fontvella ravine and initiate new work on the Juncar ravine, aiming to maintain all the municipality's ravines and riverbeds in good condition.
